The European Digital Education Hub (EDEH) is an initiative of the European Commission, funded by the Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027) and operated by a consortium of eleven organisations, under a service contract with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). EDEN Digital Learning Europe Knowledge Building team is actively contributing to this Hub. Monthly innovative events are organised to discover and debate which are the current and future challenges of the digital transformation of education. Towards Joint Micro-credential Networks and Programs in Europe: Fostering, Understanding, Uptake, Validation and Recognition Wednesday March 29 (14:00 – 15:30 CET)

The aim of the event is to discuss the emerging movement of joint micro-credential exchange networks and programs linked with the European Approach to Micro-credentials for Lifelong Learning and Employability, to accelerate European level conversation on joint micro-credentials networks and programs and build cross-sector understanding and consensus for future action. Also, to consider “what’s next” and contribute dialogue to a consensus-driven approach to implementing joint micro-credential networks and programs that facilitate understanding, uptake, validation and recognition.
