Johnson C. Smith University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU), has partnered with CEV Collection, a Black-owned eyewear company based in Dallas, Texas. The partnership will see CEV Collection provide gaming eyewear and support to JCSU’s Esports and Gaming Trifecta. CEV Collection will also help guide the university through curriculum/content, class speakers, career insights, and student internships.
The university’s Esports and Gaming Trifecta programs offer a certificate and minor programs in esports and gaming management, an esports lab, a game development club, and an esports club.
