Shala Darpan Posting Management System
Another important feature is the PMS system implemented for various staffing needs of the School Education Department. To date, there are 1,111 candidates registered on the Shala Darpan PMS portal.
Through this portal, one can get various info related to Schedules, Department Orders, Help & Support, Press releases, and the Process involved in the Staffing process.
Raj E Exams (DElEd)
This is the portal for Diploma Course in Elementary Education (DElEd) course for training teachers for primary class education.

The Rajasthan State Scholarship Portal
The Rajasthan State Scholarship Portal (4) is also an integrated e-Government Portal developed to automate, standardize, and improve the efficiency of the management of scholarship programs currently being carried out in the state of Rajasthan by a variety of different departments.
The idea behind the Rajasthan State Scholarship Portal was to connect those who offer scholarships and those who are looking for them to get more students involved.
The Process of Scholarship Allotment
There are four steps :
1. Eligibility Checking
Every student, parent, or guardian can check eligibility according to a small number of fundamental conditions and then report their findings to the School Head.
2. Documents verification
After notifying the school, all relevant documents should be turned in for verification following the standards outlined for the scholarship, as directed by the school’s head.
3. Filling out the Application form and allotment
As soon as the school head has all the necessary documentation, they will finish the student’s application and send it to the Office so that it may be processed further.
4. Payment of Office
When the Office completes its application assessment and determines that it meets the requirements for the award, the application will be processed, and the scholarship amount will be paid immediately into the student’s verified bank account.
Rajshree Portal
The Objective of the Rajshree program is to encourage the health, education, and overall life of female students in the state of Rajasthan (5). It was started in 2017 and has benefitted many girl children to date.
The eligibility for enrollment in the Rajshree program:
1. Verified PCTS Account Id
2. The applicant must be a girl, and her birthday must be on or after June 1, 2016.
3. Valid JanAadhaar connected savings account
4. You cannot have more than two children still alive when applying for the Rajshree.
The Process:
1. Every school is required to appoint a member of the Rajshree staff as the person in charge of the application processing at the school level.
2. This personnel in charge will have access to the Rajshree site, where they may log in, finish the application, and then send it to their Peeo/Uceeo or any other Nodal.
3. The Nodal will then supervise the functioning of the administrator at each school. Based on the information provided by the applicant and the charge, they will verify or deny the application.
Shala Darpan E-Gyan
Shala Darshan E-Gyan is a portal that provides study material for classes from 1st to 12th grade. (6)
You can download study materials in English and Hindi Medium from this portal of Shala Darpan free of any cost.
Shala Samvad
Shala Samvad is the communications portal of Shala Darpan (7). Various tools to communicate with the students and teachers are available here.
It contains a section for parents and students to talk to teachers. Video materials for classes 1 to 12 are available here. Study materials through Doordarshan are available, e-Patrika, Prayas(Question bank, Reading Books, Answer Book For Students), various student beneficiary schemes, National Achievement Survey, and other materials are posted on this section of Shala Darpan.
Darpan Shala Internship
Darpan Shala Internship is a program through which the government provides internships to students. (8)
To date, a total of 1666 institutions have participated in Shala Samvad Internship. This includes – 938 institutes of B.Ed., 361 BA, and BSc, 4 of B.Sc. B.Ed., 3 of B.Ed. M.Ed., 1 of M.Sc M.Ed, 355 of DElEd, and 4 of D.El.Ed of ALP Bhasha.
6,38,8999 students have benefited so far from these Internships. 262533 of these are for B.Ed. for one year, 258286 for two years of B.Ed., D.El.Ed, one-year beneficiaries, are 59383 and 52052 pupils for two years.
Moreover, there are more than 90,000 applications in process at present. A maximum of these, i.e., 67524, are for B.Ed. alone followed by D.El.Ed., which has 22236 applications in process.
Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV initiative)
KGBV is an initiative for girl students to provide a residential school for girls above ten years. (9)
The main objectives of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya are as follows:
- To provide quality elementary education through residential schools for girls of the disadvantaged class who are living in difficult conditions.
- To motivate the parents/guardians so the girl child can be sent to Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School.
- Mainly focus on girls who are out of school (unenrolled/wasted) and above ten years old.
- Special attention should be given to the girl child of the caste or communities moving from one place to another.
- Enrollment of 75 percent of girls belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Extremely Backward Classes and minority communities and 25 percent girls from below poverty line families in Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School on a priority basis.
Balika Shiksha Foundation
The Girl Education Foundation was established on 30 March 1995 to promote girl child education (10). The Girl Child Education Foundation is a registered organization under the Society Act, whose Governing Council is headed by the Honorable Chief Minister, and the Chief Secretary heads the Executive Council.
At the time of the establishment of the foundation, an amount of Rs.100 crore was provided by the state government as a corpus fund. The reserve fund amount is deposited in the Girl Education Foundation for recognition/promotion/change of place etc., of private educational institutions.
Currently, the total amount of the corpus fund and the reserve fund is Rs 204.00 crore in the Girl Child Education Foundation PD account. The interest earned from the above deposit is about Rs 15 crore per annum. The following schemes are operated from the interest earned above.
