Elevated Education was approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) as a Responsible Vendor and approval indicates they provide the 2-hour mandatory training on the topics required by the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act. The Responsible Vendor Certification must be a minimum of two (2) hours of training time and as part of the eight (8) total hours of training that must be completed annually. Through this partnership, Green CulturED was able to provide the additional six (6) hours of Illinois Responsible Vendor training that dispensing organizations must ensure agents receive annually as defined in the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act.
The Responsible Vendor training is required by all owners, managers, employees, and agents involved in the handling or sale of cannabis or cannabis-infused products employed by an adult-use dispensing organization or medical cannabis dispensing organization as defined in the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program Act.
