We’ve put together a guide to how players can unlock weapon skins in Back 4 Blood.
Cosmetics have been one of the building blocks of bragging rights since the dawn of video games as an entertainment genre. Being able to sport the rarest, flashiest, or oldest skin tends to be a point of pride for many players due to the extraordinary circumstances needed to complete it. As such, there are several ways to accrue these skins for player avatars, weapons, and more in Back 4 Blood.
Here’s how to get them.
There are a few days to unlock weapon skins in Back 4 Blood. One of the easiest ways is, of course, to have pre-ordered the game. Players who pre-ordered should already have some cosmetic skins available to swap onto their favorite weapon(s).
Otherwise, players will need to collect Supply Points which are denoted as a stack of red boxes. These are a unique in-game currency than can be attained by completing co-op Supply Line missions. At the time of writing, these are not available in solo-play—though this may not be the case for long.
Skins may also be earned as rewards for certain tiers in-game. Typically, these are meant to be the ending prizes and will vary in their rarity.
Players can spend Supply Points within Fort Hope when going to customize their weapon with Dusty.
Back 4 Blood went live on Oct. 12. It is available for the Xbox One/Series S|X, PlayStation 4/5, and PC.
