How to Perform Finisher Moves in Shadow Warrior 3

Date:

Shadow Warrior 3 review 3

As you’re making your way through Shadow Warrior 3, you’re going to want to make use of its new Finisher system to get Gore Weapons and make your fights a little easier.

Gore Weapons – and Gore Tools – are a new addition to Shadow Warrior 3, giving you the upper hand in battle for a short while. To get Gore Weapons and Gore Tools, however, you need to make use of Shadow Warrior 3‘s new Finisher system, which has you executing enemies in style before pilfering from them.

To perform a Finisher in Shadow Warrior 3, you first need to fill at least one portion of the Finisher Gauge. You do that by collecting yellow orbs of power, which can be found loitering the environment, and by killing enemies. When one portion of the Finisher Gauge is full, you can instantly kill a smaller enemy. When both portions are full, you can kill a larger enemy.

To initiate a Finisher when one or more portions of the Finisher Gauge is full, simply approach an enemy then when prompted press the Finisher button(s). When playing on a console, or on PC with a controller, that’s both the left and right shoulder buttons at the same time. On PC when using a keyboard, it’s the Q key.

After performing a finisher, you’ll then find yourself equipped with either a Gore Weapon or a Gore Tool. The former you can use for a short while to rack up some kills. The latter can be thrown to cause a variety of effects, such as freezing enemies. So, make sure to use Finisher moves when the Finisher Gauge is full to get the upper hand.
