How much is Battlefield 2042?
Battlefield 2042 is priced at $70 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but depending on the edition and console, that price may vary.
Electronic Arts officially revealed Battlefield 2042, the sixth installment in the Battlefield franchise, on Wednesday. The multiplayer first-person shooter is slated for release on Oct. 22, 2021, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is set in a dark futuristic world where climate change has brought society to ruin and war rages across the globe.

On PC, and on older consoles including PS4 and Xbox One, the standard edition of Battlefield 2042 is priced at $60. That price increases to $70 on the newer consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
There are several other editions of Battlefield 2042 to choose from. The Gold edition is $90 on PC and $100 on consoles, and comes with the Year One pass, which includes all four seasons and three epic skin bundles. The Ultimate edition is priced at $110 on PC and $120 on consoles and includes everything in the Gold Edition, as well as the Midnight Ultimate Bundle, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack.
You can pre-order the game on its website. Players who pre-order gain early access to Battlefield 2042’s open beta, which will begin sometime before the official release.
Fans of Battlefield can continue to look forward to its gameplay reveal, coming on June 13.
