How do you sprint in Diablo II: Resurrected? The game’s default speed for some characters — namely the Assassin and the Sorcerer — is a leisurely walk. Although that might cut it when you’re wandering around friendly areas, you’ll likely want to kick it up a notch, speed-wise, when you’re plumbing the depths of hell. Here’s how to speed up that slowpoke Sorcerer.

To toggle between walking and running, you simply have to press ‘R’ on your keyboard or mouse 5 on your mouse. You’ll be able to swap back and forth between the two options at will, though there aren’t many uses for walking instead of running.

If you’re playing on console, the same mechanics apply, but the commands are obviously different. Rather than hitting ‘R’ or a mouse button, click the left analogue stick on your controller. This works on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, and the button is known as L3 on PlayStation controllers.

Running is the maximum move speed — there’s no sprint option per se, but running should feel sufficiently speedy relative to walking.
