Voice actor Elle Newlands shared a rather impressive and heart-warming moment on Twitter Tuesday evening. As the voice of Horizon, Newlands had a rather busy summer recording voice lines and even face capture for the character. But with the pandemic. it wasn’t in the studio.
As with most of the world, Newlands was working from home and when you see what she had to do, it’s pretty impressive.

For obvious reasons, she couldn’t share the magical moment when it happened originally. Since the character had yet to be revealed, she waited until now to show the hard work and amazing production that was done from her place in Los Angeles.
Even with what’s going around the world, Newlands and Respawn were able to work together to come up with the brilliant work for Horizon. The newest Legend was a massive hit due to her amazing kit and phenomenal voice acting. While Respawn usually hits the ground stumbling with their new Legends, Horizon was the opposite, seamlessly fitting into the meta while providing some much-needed nuance.
