To all of our readers who live in multi-family properties (condos, apartments, duplexes, etc.), we’re sure many of you have appealed to your building owners and managers to install electric vehicle (EV) parking on the property. We get it! You’re in love with your EV, or considering purchasing one, and want the convenience and ease of charging while it’s parked where you live. Makes perfect sense to us.
Though, perhaps you’ve had pushback on the idea from your property manager or owner. We get that, too. Adding EV charging to multi-unit housing isn’t as straightforward as one might think, given the players involved, the approval process, installation, maintenance, etc. That’s why we’re hosting a webinar on February 24th on the obstacles and opportunities of EV charging at multi-family dwellings.
