Cupra is launching a five-year/90,000 mile warranty across all models, the latest incentive to help boost sales.

The offering features a two-year manufacturer’s warranty with unlimited mileage, plus a further three years up to a maximum of 90,000 miles – whichever comes first. The new warranty will be valid for orders placed on, or after 3 April and applies to both new factory orders and stock orders.

“Our new five-year warranty across the range makes the Cupra offering even more appealing. We want to reassure our customers with the knowledge that they are extensively covered when purchasing their Cupra, so they can enjoy their experience.” said Marcus Gossen, director of SEAT and Cupra UK. 

“The accessibility of our models is very important to us, and by increasing the warranty of our range to five years, we give customers continued peace of mind on the road.”

Previously, the Cupra range covered three years (or 60,000 miles), with the option to extend to either four years (or 75,000 miles), or five years (or 90,000 miles) for an additional cost.

Cupra’s paint warranty and body protection warranty remain unchanged at three years and 12 months respectively. The Cupra all-electric Born’s battery warranty also remains unchanged at eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever is earliest. 

फरवरी में, Cupra reduced the price on its Born electric vehicle by £2,350 across the range to reduce entry prices for customers that would benefit from switching to an EV. The price reduction means the Born is now priced from £35,085.

The brand also introduced additional incentives on the Born including a free Ohme smart home charger, a £750 pre-paid Mastercard for retail customers and 0% finance or a £4,000 deposit contribution on 3.6% finance.

In 2023 the brand delivered more than 230,000 vehicles.
