Hans Airways, UK-Based Airline Shares LOI for First A330-200

Date:

Hans Airways

Hans Airways, a United Kingdom (UK) based airline has shared the letter of intent (LOI) for its first aircraft. The airline announced that it has signed a letter of intent for its first aircraft. Further, according to a SimpleFlying report, the brand new airline has also applied for the Air Operators Certificate with the UK Civil Aviation Authority. Hans Airways plans to launch services as early as this summer.

The A330 that is being referred to here isn’t a new aircraft but the one that has been in service for over 13 years now with Air Europa. The aircraft was delivered to Air Europa back in 2008 and is on lease from Carlyle Aviation Partners.

RadarBox.com data suggests that the aircraft is in Abu Dhabi undergoing maintenance and left Spain in December. Hans Airways has confirmed that the aircraft will retain the current cabin layout that Air Europa has been working with. There are 275 economy seats and 24 premium economy seats in the aircraft.

Hans Airways Plans to Comes to India

Hans Airways is also planning to connect the UK with India. But not with the major cities, but with the secondary ones. The airline’s website showcases Amritsar which could be a decent destination for a direct flight from Birmingham.

But Hans Airways won’t be a low-cost airline on these routes regardless of the fact that India has a price-sensitive market. More should come to light once the airline launches commercial services.
