Google Stadia Finally Adds a Search Bar; Activity Feed Coming Soon

Avatar

Published

on

Google Stadia players will now be able to search for games on the streaming service with the new search bar function, Google announced in a blog post on Wednesday.

The company, which launched its web search engine 24 years ago and became the epitome of search on the internet, has finally added a search bar to the Stadia platform 17 months after the service launched. It will be rolling out to all players during this week, and “will make finding your favorite games much easier,” according to the post.

This would be true considering the current way to find games or add-ons on the store page is to scroll down and click on a predefined category such as shooter or new releases, and the “all games” option for a giant list of games.

The UI will be updated this week with a sorting option for players’ libraries to track games by free, purchased, or claimed through Stadia Pro.

The company also announced two features that would be coming in the future. The first is an activity feed for sharing video captures and access friends’ game states through State Share, and allowing Android users to access Google Stadia directly from the web browser instead of the dedicated app.

Avatar

Published

on

During the past few years, the online gambling industry has experienced an exponential growth, and millions of players from all over the world enjoy gambling through their favorite casino games. With the huge growth of the online gambling industry, there has also been a development in the way that gamblers can make payments. Another addition to the current payment methods at online casinos is Bitcoin. During the past few years, Bitcoin has become extremely popular to use as a payment method, especially in Japan. We think it is safe to say that Bitcoin has revolutionised the way online payments can be done and today, Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency. However, Bitcoin is still unknown to many people because it is still relatively new on the market. Nonetheless, there are many advantages of using Bitcoins as a payment method at online casinos, so we will definitely see more Bitcoins at online casinos in the future. There are some recommended online casinos with Bitcoin, and in the article below you can learn more about online casinos with Bitcoin in Japan.

Japanese gambling laws

It is not that easy to become an expert on the Japanese gambling laws because they can be quite confusing. The gambling laws are a bit of a gray area in Japan because many forms of gambling are banned by a specific gambling law. However, there are some exceptions, and some gambling at online casinos is now allowed while other things remain illegal in the country. Due to the quite confusing gambling laws, the cryptocurrency market in Japan has improved its popularity because Bitcoin casinos offer anonymous gambling options.

Benefits of gambling with Bitcoin

There is a reason why the use of Bitcoin at online casinos has become so popular because there are several benefits of gambling with Bitcoin. Among other things, cryptocurrency can’t be sanctioned by the government nor any banks and therefore, Japanese players can gamble anonymously. Besides this, Japanese gamblers can use Bitcoin as an extremely easy and fast payment method. When playing at online casinos with Bitcoin, they can also receive several bonuses in Bitcoin instead of real money, and some online casinos even offer special bonus codes that Japanese gamblers can use when signing up for an online casino with Bitcoin.

How to use Bitcoin as a payment method

It has become extremely popular to use Bitcoin as a payment method at online casinos, and it is just as easy to use as other payment methods. Before Japanese gamblers make any transactions at an online casino, they just have to make sure to have Bitcoins in their cryptocurrency bank. When using Bitcoin as a payment method, there is no need for them to connect their credit or debit card to the online casino which is a huge benefit for many gamblers. Besides this, there are only a few transaction charges because the Japanese Government still hasn’t recognized Bitcoins as real money.

Next-Gen PSVR Will Feature 4K Support, Foveated Rendering, Inside-Out Tracking, and More – Rumour

A new report reveals potential details on Sony’s upcoming next-gen virtual reality headset.

PS5_PSVR_02

Earlier this year, Sony confirmed that it was working on a next-gen virtual reality headset for the PS5, which was followed not long afterward with a reveal of the headset’s new controllers. While we know quite a bit about these controllers – including features such as finger touch detection, haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and even what they will look like – details on the actual headset itself are scant. Now, a new report published by Upload VR, citing sources familiar with the product and its development, has revealed potential details on it.

According to the report, the PSVR 2 (or whatever Sony ends up calling it) will feature full 4K support. More specifically, it will offer a resolution of 4000×2040 pixels, 2000×2040 pixels per eye, for a total of roughly 8.16 million. In addition, it will also supposedly feature gaze tracking for foveated rendering, while the report also claims that it will have inside-out tracking, using onboard cameras in the headset to track the positions of the controllers, making for more freedom of movement for the player.

Curiously enough, it’s also claimed that the headset will come with a motor that will be used for the purpose of haptic feedback in the headset itself (in addition to the haptic feedback support for the controllers). Finally, the report also mentions a lens separation adjustment dial and a USB Type-C port.

This is an unverified report, of course, so don’t take this as official confirmation, at least not until we hear something official from Sony. If this does turn out to be accurate though, it’ll be interesting to see how Sony ends up tackling the issue of deciding a pricing model for the headset. Stay tuned for more updates.

It appears Disney is teaming with DotEmu to bring a pair of classic LucasArts games that were originally released on the Super Nintendo to the Nintendo Switch. Zombies Ate My Neighbors and its sequel, Ghoul Patrol, are being made available for the switch under the Lucasfilm Classic Games Banner, courtesy of DotEmu on the Nintendo eShop (h/t NintendoEverything).

Players will be able to experience both games in a special double-pack collection with new enhanced features and brand-new museum features. Additionally, players will be able to save their progress in both games and continue whenever and wherever they want.

The new Museum Features has a video interview with one of the original Zombies’ developers, along with art galleries featuring unreleased concept images and marketing assets. Another bonus feature is the entire digital soundtrack for both titles in the music players.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol Coming to Nintendo Switch

The collection does have a 2-Player Mode, but based on the Nintendo eShop listing, it’s two-player local co-op only. So, it does not appear there will be online two-player co-op. Lastly, the collection features new game achievements for Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol.

Getting classic 16-bit era releases on newer generation hardware is definitely a nice way to keep the legacies of these games alive. LucasArts created some classic, memorable titles over the years. Hopefully, it’s a trend that can continue.

Currently, there only appears to be a Nintendo eShop listing for this release. The collection is due out June 29. You can view the trailer for the new Switch collection below.
