Good Early Game Grinding Spots in Elden Ring

Date:

Elden Ring 1

The world of Elden Ring is harsh and cruel. And so you may find yourself dying time and time again.

By levelling up and increasing your stats, however, you can make your time with Elden Ring much more fruitful. Spend enough time farming runes so you can upgrade your character and, dare we say it? Elden Ring can become rather easy. But just what are some good early game grinding spots?

When it comes to good early game grinding spots in Elden Ring, two come to our minds. One is accessible from the Dragon-Burnt Ruins, in the southern area of Agheel Lake. Venture into the cellar there and you’ll find a trapped chest, which will warp you to a Glintstone Tunnel far over on the western side of the map. Some of the enemies there are tough, especially if you’re a melee-focussed character. But each enemy you kill is worth a fair amount of runes. Run out of the shed in which you appear and head right, down the rocks, and then left through the tunnel to find a Site of Grace and an exit.

The second good early game grinding spot available to you in Elden Ring can be found by pushing on through Gatefront, up to the Stormhill Shack, then heading east to find the Warmaster’s Shack. From there, head south until you spot some trolls in a field. There are five of them overall, each one worth just over 1,000 runes each. Take them out, warp back to the Warmaster’s Shack, then head back to the trolls to kill them again. Rinse and repeat until you have a nice stash of runes.
