Alongside Genshin Impact’s new 2.3 update, Mihoyo added in an investigative event titled “Shadow of the Ancients.” Filled with a plethora of content, including various interconnected quests, the event will give players plenty to do while it’s live from Friday, Nov. 5, to Monday, Nov. 15.
Here’s everything players should know about Genshin Impact’s latest events:
Genshin Impact’s Shadow of the Ancients event has three phases that unlock every two days (Nov. 5, Nov. 7, and Nov. 9) and require players to complete the previous phase before moving onto the next one.
While not many details are known about Phases 2 and 3 of the event, as these Phases haven’t unlocked yet, Phase 1 is quite simple. Players need to use Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector to locate and collect Conduction Components.
Phase 2 will see these components put to use in Pursina’s Spikes which players will then need to charge up. Phase 3 will require players to face off against the Anomalous Model Ruin Grader. Fully charged Pursina’s Spikes are essentially to defeating this boss.
Players will also receive rewards after completing each phase of the event. Once again, details on the rewards for Phases 2 and 3 have yet to be revealed. Plenty of information is known about Phase 1, though, and players will earn some great rewards after completion, those rewards being 30,000 Mora ,160 Primogems, and 6 Talent Level-Up Materials.
Players should make to sure to be active while the Shadow of the Ancients event is live so they can get some great rewards and just enjoy the event itself.
