Fortnite Leaks Reveal Planned Hawkeye, Green Goblin & League of Legends Collaborations

Date:

Data miners in the Fortnite scene have uncovered more collaborations with Marvel and Riot Games.

Fortnite’s Item Shop has been quiet as of late following the most recent Boba Fett and Cobra Kai collaborations. Following the Winterfest 2021 event, offerings are much more scarce, which usually means Epic Games is working on something exciting behind the scenes. Information from the XboxEra podcast pointed toward a planned collaboration between Fortnite and Paramount intellectual properties, mainly the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Beyond that, fans can expect more crossovers sometime soon based on leaks that surfaced earlier today. Those leaks come from reputable sources and point toward a Fortnite collaboration with Marvel superhero Hawkeye, supervillain Green Goblin and League of Legends. While Epic has not confirmed these publicly, several Twitter users have evidence to support these theories.

Fortnite x Hawkeye

The first leak comes from multiple sources on Twitter, including HYPEX, ralisdumb, GMatrixGames and FNLeaksAndInfo. These four managed to discover a planned Hawkeye crossover based on the Disney+ series of the same name. The show follows the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) character Clint Barton a.k.a Hawkeye, after the events that unfolded in Avengers: Endgame.

This collaboration includes Jeremey Renner’s portrayal of Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop–another character in the show. Those interested in the items included should refer to the tweet above by HYPEX.

Fortnite x Green Goblin

Fortnite’s ongoing collaboration with Marvel’s Spider-Man continues with an iconic supervillain from the comic book series. Thus far, we’ve seen several iterations of the Spider-Man character, and even the “No Way Home” version of the web-slinger and Zendaya’s portrayal of MJ. Now, the Green Goblin will join that growing list relatively soon.

Twitter user ralisdumb leaked imagery of the latest Fortnite x Marvel character, which you can see in the tweet above. This version of the Green Goblin draws inspiration from the comic book version instead of Willem Dafoe’s portrayal in the original Sam Raimi-directed Spider-Man trilogy.

Fortnite x League of Legends: Vi Joins Jinx

As if two more Marvel collaborations weren’t enough, Fortnite is working with Riot Games on another League of Legends character. The last Fortnite x LoL crossover occurred in November when Jinx from the League of Legends-centered Netflix series “Arcane” emerged as a playable character. During the patch v19.10 downtime, Leaks revealed that Jinx’s sister Violet – Vi for short – is next in line to join Fortnite.

GMatrixGames and iFireMonkey posted an in-game image of Vi before her release, which you can see in the tweet above. With two League of Legends characters now confirmed in the Fortnite universe, who knows what’s next?

Epic Games hasn’t divulged the anticipated release date for these new collaborations. However, HYPEX said on Twitter that fans could expect them within the next two weeks. Until then, we’ll need to play the waiting game to see when Epic releases formal blog posts to welcome Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Green Goblin and Vi.
