Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 is due to start tomorrow and the community is keen to see what’s next for The Flipside! We may not be getting an event, but the lead up is still exciting.

While Season 1 has been everything we could have wanted from the start of a new era in the game, we’re always keen to look forward to what’s next. Rumours started flying about Season 2 quite early but now we’re within touching distance.

One pretty major leak has essentially detailed what the story of Chapter 3, Season 2 might end up being.

Latest – No official teases, Season starts tomorrow

Everything we see in-game points to Fortnite Season 2 starting on Sunday, 20 March but Epic have been completely absent when it comes to hyping the season up.

We’ve had no teases, no leaks and in a way, it’s been a brilliant strategy! Players are clueless and it’s hard to remember the last time this was the case. We’re super excited to see what Season 2 brings when it arrives!

More Star Wars Season Teases

For a while, signs have pointed towards Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 having a huge Star Wars influence.

Now, Donald Mustard has tweeted what could be yet another tease.

If the whole season is based on Star Wars, it could be extremely exciting and unique.

Are we getting an event soon?

Usually, when the final update of a Fortnite season comes around, we learn a lot more about any end of season events. As Fortnite Update 19.40 came and went, there was nothing to speak of in the files.

Now this leaves us unsure of whether or not an event is planned to end Season 1 or start Season 2. All signs point towards more of a cut and dry end to the season perhaps with a cutscene rather than an interactive event.

Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 Leaks

Fortnite content creator @TaborTimeYT has come up with the Season 2 goods alongside @MidaRado. The big news is that another war with The Imagined Order looks set to take place. There was some belief that the IO had been vanquished as part of the Flipside event at the end of Chapter 2 but it looks like they’re still about and ready to launch an attack.

A slightly more minor leak suggested that a driveable vehicle with mounted turrets would drop into the game. This could be as part of an in-game event rather than for general Battle Royale use.
