EA Sports released FIFA 22 Team of the Week 1 as the Early Access period for the new title starts to roll out on platforms.
Team of the Week is a weekly FIFA Ultimate Team promotion in which EA Sports releases performance-based upgraded items from the last week of matches around the world. Additionally, the latest Team of the Week makes up the player pick pool for FUT Champions. With the new FUT Champions system introduced in FIFA 22, fans await some more clarification on how those player picks will work.
Also EA Sports introduced a new upgrade type for Team of the Week with one player receiving a Featured Boost.

FIFA 22 Team of the Week 1 is headlined by 90 rated Mohamed Salah and Joshua Kimmich. Liverpool already had some of the highest rated gold cards at launch, but this new Mohamed Salah should be the most sought after card in this set. Not to mention, Watford’s Ismaila Sarr looks like a top card already as players try to figure out the meta.
Finally, Vinicius Jr’s card is drawing comparisons to Allan Saint-Maximin’s 83 rated in-form card from FIFA 21. He’s got five-star skills and a four-star weak foot. With how strong some of the items in La Liga are at launch, this card is going to be expensive at the start.
