Fibocom has announced that its 4G smart module SC126-NA has received certification from a leading carrier in North America. The SC126-NA is a high-performance smart module designed for the entry-level intelligent IoT market. With its quad-core processor and advanced 11nm technology, this module offers integrated connectivity services to a variety of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) terminals, such as smart wireless payment terminals, industrial handhelds, and 4G PTT-over-cellular terminals. This certification further validates the module’s capabilities and ensures reliable performance for various applications.
The global AIoT market is projected to reach high demand with the expansion of AI technology. Smart module empowers IoT devices with mobile computing capabilities, allowing real-time data processing and analysis, reducing the decision-making timeline in critical scenarios for industry customers, and improving overall efficiency.
