Losing the Major spot to Evil Geniuses was the final nail in the coffin for the Oceanic roster.

EXTREMUM has announced the benching of their entire lineup on Sunday, noting that the team’s failure to qualify for the PGL Stockholm Major was the primary factor leading to what they described as a difficult decision.

“It’s been a tough week for EXTREMUM, losing to Evil Geniuses was obviously one of the worst-case scenarios, since the main goal of our organization and our team was to qualify for the Major,” the organization explained in a short statement. EXTREMUM added that the team’s “further fate is unknown” and that they are open to inquiries about their players.
