A Champagne bearing five non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the outer layer of its container, including any semblance of notable assortments Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) side project Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) and a Sneaky Vampire, sold for US$2.5 million in a confidential deal last Friday.

The new proprietors of the world’s most costly Champagne are siblings Giovanni and Piero Buono, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on Tuesday.The Champagne bottle accompanied free exchanges of the NFTs, those of which are stepped on the container.
“I don’t plan to drink it. I think it will be a good investment,” one of the siblings supposedly said.The siblings contended that the record-breaking liquor and NFT venture is a protected store of significant worth.

The bottle is currently priced 2,500 ETH at NFT commercial center OpenSea, yet due ongoing volatilities saw in the digital currency market, the exchange was done in U.S. dollars, as per the WSJ.
The NFT bottle, named Magnum 2.5, was printed by wine merchant Champagne Avenue Foch and planned by BAYC craftsman Mig, who is likewise the maker of the Sneaky Vampire Syndicate NFT assortment.
