Endpoint install Allan Hender as head coach

Date:

Endpoint announced the appointment of Allan Hender to the position of head coach on Wednesday, replacing outgoing coach Ross “RossR” Rooney who moved to a management role within the organisation in August. Allan Hender was previously an analyst and caster and has worked with organisers such as Flashpoint and ESEA in the past.

The move comes in the midst of an inconsistent period for the Endpoint squad, who since the player break have crashed out of both Malta Vibes Knockout Series without winning a map, fallen in the first round of playoffs at Pinnacle Fall Series, and currently sit at two wins and two losses in their ESEA Premier group.

The team have also recently qualified for IEM Fall, taking place September 29-October 10. Placed in Group B, they will be fighting it out against Heroic, Astralis, Complexity, Sinners and Movistar Riders. After a round-robin best-of-one group stage, the top two teams will move on to a single elimination best-of-three playoff bracket, with the grand final moving to best-of-five.

IEM Fall will not only be Allan Hender’s LAN debut as coach, it will also be Endpoint‘s first major international event with Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas, who recently replaced fnatic-bound William “mezii” Merriman.

Catch Endpoint in action next on September 22 at 19:00 when they take on LDLC in ESEA Premier.
