Earning Free LoL RP with Microsoft Rewards

Date:

There is excellent news for every fan of League of Legends who would like to have a skin for their favorite champion without actually giving money to this phenomenal free-to-play game. They will be able to do that via the Microsoft Rewards system.

Riot is not a stranger to giving out free RP. Even when the game just started, players who lacked some RP to buy a skin could send in a drawing of their favorite champion in paint, and they would be given up to 100 RP for a missing skin.

Last year, as everyone who is into LoL esports is already aware of, the Twitch Prime Capsules were introduced, and by being subscribed to Twitch Prime (even with the free trial), you would get 650 RP along with a lot of other goodies. But how does the system work with Microsoft Rewards, and is it worth it?

How to earn free unlimited RP?

To opt into Microsoft Rewards is simple, as all you have to do is navigate to the Microsoft Rewards page and join the program. Unfortunately, this program is region-locked for quite many countries, so if you do not live in one where the program is enabled, you will not be able to join, even if you use a VPN.

The program has been up and running for quite some time now, so if you are already a part of the program, you can already use your Microsoft Rewards Points (MRP) to redeem the RP. There are two options for buying RP at the moment. One of them is 1,500 MRP for 100 RP, and the other is 6,500 MRP for 650 RP.

Once you get the RP code from the Microsoft Rewards, you will have to navigate to the League of Legends store while you are logged in, click on “Purchase RP,” and usually the last option under the “Select Purchase Method” part of the page is going to be “Prepaid Cards & Codes.” As you fill out the code into the blank space, click submit, and the RP is yours.

How to earn Microsoft Rewards Points?

There are various ways one can earn MRP, but usually, it revolves around sharing some of your data and using tools that you would probably avoid using. The best examples are using Microsoft Edge as your browser and Bing to search for things online.

You will also be rewarded if you complete daily tasks or spend some money in the Microsoft Store. If you decide to stack up on your MRP without spending any money, you will have to do a bit of work by completing tasks, and that will give a maximum of 9,600 points per month, which is enough for 850 RP.

In our opinion, if you are a fan of esports betting, you can probably see how this is not worth doing unless you are already using the tools that Microsoft Rewards would require from you. However, if you are stuck in the loading screen for your League of Legends game for a while, or if you are playing some Teamfight Tactics on one monitor, you might also complete some tasks for free RP on your second monitor.
