The FIFA 22 Title Update #8 will address some key concerns that players have experienced over the last month. However, this is only an update for PC at the moment.

Although the date hasn’t been revealed yet, we have the patch notes that will let you know what exactly you can expect when it’s available.

FIFA 22 Title Update #8 Release Date

The patch notes for the new FIFA 22 Title Update were released on March 21, 2022. The last time a title update was released it was available to download a few days later.

The good news for players on other platforms is that it’s common for PC to receive the update before they do. The most recent title update was released on March 8, 2022.

If you purchased the game via Origin or Steam, you can expect the FIFA 22 update to hit your system very soon.

We’ll be sure to announce when the download is available on your system once the actual date is released.

Patch Notes from Title Update #8

At least you won’t have to wait to see what exactly will be changed when the FIFA 22 update is available. The patch notes have been released and you can expect a few gameplay changes.

Primarily, the Drag to Drag skill move will receive attention in the upcoming update. Once active, the move can be interrupted sooner.

Here are the patch notes from the FIFA 22 Title Update #8:

Gameplay

• The Drag To Drag Skill Move can be interrupted earlier in the animation after being performed with the right analog input.

Addressed the following issues:

• When the attacking player was performing a cross, Auto Switching did not occur as expected for the defending team if their controlled player was Containing.
• When a goal was scored in the last moment of a match, it wasn’t being counted towards the result in some rare instances.
• When playing Co-Op, the initial kick off pass animation was taking slightly longer than intended.
• In some rare situations, the goalkeeper rushed towards the ball carrier without being requested to do so.

VOLTA FOOTBALL

• VOLTA ARCADE could display as being unavailable even when it was available.
  In some cases, a red ball could have been used on a red surface, making it difficult to view the ball.

Pro Clubs

• Club and Virtual Pro information could disappear from the UI after sending Drop-In invites. This was a visual issue only.

General, Audio, and Visual

• Updated some kits and stadia.
• Added and updated a total of 51 new star heads.
