Dota 2: The Most Picked PUB Heroes This Week — Use Them To Win

Date:

We take a look at the most picked heroes in pubs this week.

Many Dota 2 players want to learn which heroes they need to pick in order to win most of their games. Every meta has its hot options, and patch 7.32b is not an exception. That’s why we’ve included a list of some of the most successful heroes in the patch.

With that said, the heroes that work in pro games are not always suitable for PUBs. That’s why it is a good idea to learn more about some of the heroes that players pick in the given patch.

Speaking of the devil, patch 7.32b has been out for a while now, so most players already know what works. Let’s review some of the last week’s hottest picks and see what makes them special.

Axe

The first hero on the list is Axe, which will probably not surprise some of you, especially if you’ve played a lot of PUBs. Even though the hero might not work in every lineup, Axe can be a fantastic option to carry the game from the offlane. He farms really fast, allowing him to get his core items faster than others.

Of course, Axe is notorious for being one of the best counters against melee carries. The hero deals too much damage and can easily tank the entire creep wave. Aside from being difficult to kill, he also prevents the enemy core heroes from farming.

If that’s not enough, Axe is also a hero that can easily kill anyone alone. Once he gets a Blink Dagger and a Blade Mail, he can easily rip through the entire team like a knife through butter.

Magnus

Interestingly, Magnus is the second most popular hero for this week. Some of you might be surprised, considering that his win rate is not that impressive compared to the others on the list.

Magnus is a hero that works well in conjunction with pretty much any melee. Since PUB players love to go for options like Phantom Assassin and Juggernaut, Magnus is one of the best companions they can have. He provides more damage and an AoE stun, allowing them to do tons of damage.

One of the important things to keep in mind about Magnus is that the hero can work in the mid and offlane. Most people choose the second option because it allows them to get utility items and free the mid-lane for a hero that needs more farm.

Dark Willow

Don’t worry support players, we also have something for you, and it is called Dark Willow. This is a hero that can have a massive impact on the game as long as the player knows how to use it properly.

Dark Willow deals a lot of damage and is one of the most annoying laners in Dota 2. Even though the hero is fairly fragile, it can do a lot of pressure early on, making it ideal for a support hero.

Legion Commander

The next hero on the list may not surprise some of you, especially if you’ve been playing PUBs for a while. Legion Commanded is probably one of the most recognizable names in Dota 2 and one of the most famous heroes in the game. That’s one of the reasons why LC was among the first to receive an Arcana.

Even though the hero is usually played in the jungle, good LC players know that it can be a fantastic offlaner. Some Dota 2 players even use the hero in the offlane, where they can easily go up against multiple heroes.

LC is one of the best late-game heroes you can have because Duel allows it to snowball. In some cases, the hero can deal a lot more damage than the team’s carry or midlaner.

Tusk

Tusk has been a vital part of the game for many years because he is one of the best roamers in the game. While it is true that some players preferred other options in the previous patch, Tusk is finally back in the meta, so it is definitely one of the options you need to consider.

Although it may seem like the hero doesn’t have a massive impact on the game, this is not the case. Once you start roaming, you can quickly secure kills and even save your allies from death.

Lich

Having top-tier lane support in your hero pool is always a plus. That’s one of the reasons why heroes like Lich are picked more often than ever.

Some people think that Lich is not that interesting and even find the hero to be boring. This is true up to a point, but the hero can do wonders with some carries, such as Juggernaut and Ursa. Furthermore, Lich has one of the best ultimates for team fights.

Luna

Everyone remembers that good-old meta where Luna and Shadow Demon were the hottest combos in the game. Although this is not the case anymore, Luna remains one of the best carries you can get in the given patch.

The hero’s win rate is not as impressive as before, but this doesn’t mean it is not good. On the contrary, Luna is one of the few carries in Dota 2 that provides tons of physical and magical damage.

Another thing that makes Luna so popular is the hero’s incredible farming speed. Depending on the game, she can farm as fast as Anti-Mage while simultaneously participating in teamfights.

Silencer

The last hero on the list is very different from the rest because it can be played in different positions. Silencer is not the go-to option for pro players, but it can do wonders in PUBs, especially if enemy heroes are weak against silences.

Even though Silencer is not farming that fast, he makes up for it by doing a lot of damage. In fact, he is probably one of the worst mid-laners you can face, making him ideal when you want to counter a given hero.
