Deathloop, the highly-anticipated strategic co-op title, has finally been released today—leaving players with questions on how to engage.

Arkane Studios “wowed” audiences with its reveal of Deathloop, a game where respawning truly allows the player to apply new knowledge to their playstyle. It pits two deadly assassins, Colt Vahn and Julianna Blake, to the island of Blackreef where each one is set on their own conflicting mission: Colt to take down his targets and end the cycle of respawning and Julianna to take down Colt before he can.

No, Deathloop does not support cross-play or cross-platform interaction—at least, not at the time of writing this article.

This may come as frustrating news to fans of the game as Deathloop sports a unique, immersive co-op feature. Julianna, the game’s “antagonist” can be controlled by the game, itself, or by another player for a more difficult challenge. This means that no only will Colt players need to outsmart Arkane Studios’ AI, they’ll need to avoid their friend’s crosshair, as well.

Currently, Deathloop is a timed PS5 exclusive, meaning it is scheduled to remain on PS5 and PC for a year until at least this time in 2022. While this news may be exciting to Xbox fans and owners, this doesn’t necessarily translate to cross-platform potential.

Arkane Studios, the developer of the title, has yet to state whether or not it will support this feature in the future.

Deathloop releases on PlayStation 5 and PC on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021.

Entropiq, Virtus Pro advance to PGL Stockholm Major Legends Stage

Published

on

CIS teams Entropiq and Virtus Pro are through to PGL Stockholm Major Legends Stage following today’s victories over Heroic and Team Spirit, respectively, in the Challengers Stage’s 2-1 pool matches.

Entropiq lost their map pick, Ancient (16-10), to Heroic, tied the game in a nail-biting encounter on Nuke (16-14), and steamrolled the Danish team on the final map, Mirage (16-4), to complete the reverse sweep and secure top 16 in the $2 million tournament. The CIS team’s AWPer Aleksey “El1an” Gusev and rifler Aleksey “NickelBack” Trofimov finished among the highest-rated players in the series as each of them got 54 frags.

VP and Spirit also played all three maps, but it was VP who almost let the series slip. Dzhami “Jame” Ali’s troops won in Inferno (16-7), and were winning on Ancient by 10-5 but saw Spirit win 11 CT-side rounds to tie the series. They were again nearly defeated in Overpass with Spirit 15-14 ahead, but VP took the series to overtime. With momentum on their side, VP won four in a row to qualify for the Legends Stage. VP’s rifler Alexey “Qikert” Golubev had a solid performance in all three maps and finished with a 69-50 K/D ratio.

Entropiq and VP have joined FaZe Clan and Copenhagen Flames, the first teams to secure their spot in the Legends Stage. The next stage of the competition will see some of the best teams in the world such as Natus Vincere, Gambit, and Ninjas in Pyjamas join the battle for a spot in the playoffs that will be held in front of a live audience at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm.

As for Heroic and Team Spirit, they will have the rest of the day to reset and prepare for tomorrow’s elimination match. The third day of the PGL Stockholm Major will continue, and three teams will be sent home.

How to Unlock Stadium Doors in Warzone: Keycards and Codes Revealed

Published

on

Here’s how to unlock the remaining Stadium doors in Warzone, and where to find the necessary keycards.

After a few doors were unlocked, players have finally had a chance to have a look inside the Stadium in Warzone. While this certainly satisfied a degree of curiosity, a number of doors remained locked, requiring a code in order to be opened. The codes can be found by collecting three keycards, ad using them to unlock their designed door.

Each door that players open gets them one step closer to unlocking the final door. Each code offers up a piece of the final puzzle. To help you out, we’ve comprised a list of locations for the keycards, alongwith how to use the codes to unlock the doors.

First, you’ll need to know where to find the three keycards. The keycards will always spawn inside the Stadium, with each card appearing on a certain level. The first two characters of the keycard will give you an idea of where to start looking. The three keycards are: P216, CL19, and EL21. You’ll find the cards on the following levels:

Be on the lookout for enemy players who are also on the hunt for the keycards. If they find it before you do, you’ll need to wait until the next match or steal it from them after knocking them down.

Each keycard will correspond to the door on that level. EL21 opens the door on the Executive Level, for example. Unlock the door and collect the loot inside. Be sure to check the monitor in the room as this will display the codes you’ll need to unlock the final door.

You’ll need to collect the codes from each of the three locked rooms. You might want to write it down somewhere – in your phone notes or with a trusty pen and paper. Sadly, the codes are different each game, so there’s no set code that will work in every match. You’ll have to put in the work here.

After noting down all three codes, which will be a mixture of letters and numbers, you’ll need to work out what the letters mean. Each letter (or symbol) represents a number. To work out the full numerical code, you’ll need to compare all three codes and work out which number each letter represents. The more codes you’ve collected, the easier it’ll be to solve the final code.

Once you’ve worked out the code, input the new numerical code at the final locked door on the second floor of the Stadium. Inside, you’ll find the Enigma CR56 AMAX blueprint.

Entropiq shock Heroic to lock in Legends Stage spot

Published

on

An exciting series between Entropiq and Heroic was concluded in favor of the underdog team, 2-1, to ensure their advancement to the Legends Stage where the likes of Natus Vincere, Liquid, and G2 await.

Heroic was in a great spot to close out the series in two, having won their opponent’s map pick of Ancient and taken a 6-1 lead on the T side of Nuke, but Dmitry “hooch” Bogdanov‘s men didn’t give up.

Fearless play on the offensive sides of Nuke and Mirage got Entropiq back into the game and led them to the eventual victory in the series. With prior wins over Astralis and Movistar Riders they are propelled into the next stage, while Heroic‘s loss combined with an earlier one against Copenhagen Flames put Casper “cadiaN” Møller‘s team on the brink of elimination.

Entropiq didn’t give up after a loss on their map pick

Heroic picked up a 5-1 lead on the defensive side of Ancient but failed to leverage a hot start into a strong halftime result. Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko‘s double entry on B started a good run for Entropiq who broke their opponents’ money to equalize at 5-5. The Russians looked good to end the half ahead, but Ismail “refrezh” Ali supported a B site retake for a minimal Heroic lead before the switch.

With a 3-1 CT start things were looking good for Entropiq, but they failed to provide much more on the defensive side of their map pick. Heroic‘s notoriously tricky mid-rounds were impossible to deal with for Aleksey “NickelBack” Trofimov‘s team, who didn’t manage a single gun round and fell 16-10.

CT woes continued for Entropiq on Nuke as Heroic played with their rotations to set up a 6-1 lead. A lobby push stopped that streak and recognizing what works, Entropiq continued to get into Heroic‘s faces to salvage the half. From 7-8, the CIS side pushed on to take a 13-9 lead, Heroic fought back with good individual holds, but eventually faltered to the great opening work displayed by NickelBack and Krad.

Explosive rounds from Entropiq continued on Mirage, giving little respect to the team ranked No. 5 in their world as they took mid control and performed site splits with little objection from Heroic. Not a single Danish player reached double digits as they swapped sides 11-4 behind, and there was no danger in that lead for Entropiq, despite what common wisdom says. NickelBack‘s team won the pistol and closed out the map to claim the series, 2-1.
