This week Disney and Kabam announced a collaboration to bring an exciting new action RPG to mobile devices this summer. The game is called Disney Mirrorverse, and it stars a huge roster of favorite characters from across the Disney and Pixar spectrum, but in altered “Mirrorverse” forms. The Mirrorverse itself is kind of an alternate reality from the traditional Disney and Pixar characters’ worlds, and in this way Disney Mirrorverse has the freedom to explore these characters from angles you maybe would never expect, and have them behaving in ways you might never have imagined. You can see some of these alternate universe versions of many popular characters in the following cinematic trailer for Disney Mirrorverse.
As the trailer mentions, pre-registration is now open for Disney Mirrorverse over on the game’s website. As is always the case with things like this, there are rewards that can be unlocked based on the number of people who pre-register. And hey, only about a day in and the 50k milestone has already been unlocked, meaning all players will get 5k worth of in-game gold when the game launches. Another benefit to pre-registering is that iOS players will unlock a special golden Mickey in-game avatar, while Android players will unlock a Stellar Mirror avatar. I must say that I think the iOS players come out on top with that reward. Disney Mirrorverse is set to launch worldwide on June 23rd so there’s plenty of time to reach the top tier unlock of 1 million pre-registrations before then.
