North American esports organisation CLG has announced a marketing partnership with electronics company Samsung.
The agreement, which sees Samsung become a presenting partner of CLG’s Amateur Tournament Series, includes the creation of a digital content series and brand integration throughout the organisation’s team and digital channels.

Samsung will be involved in all of the marketing assets throughout livestreams of Samsung Open Tournament Series events on CLG’s Twitch channel.
The first Samsung Open Tournament Series will take place on April 24th, with the competition alternating monthly between League of Legends and fan-voted games.
Dan Fleeter, COO for CLG commented: “CLG has seen such a positive response to the Amateur Events that we’ve created over the last year and we can’t wait to expand on this venture with Samsung.
“We believe there is a huge opportunity to engage with more Amateur esports players and Samsung is the perfect partner to help grow this platform exponentially as they understand like us the importance of every millisecond.”
The electronics company has also been named the official computer memory hardware devices partner for CLG’s teams.

Samsung will have its NVMe computer memory hardware products used throughout CLG’s Performance Center, whilst also taking part in several sweepstakes and promotions throughout the year where Samsung products will be given as prizes.

Esports Insider says: It’s great to see more of an emphasis being put onto the amateur scene in esports, especially through well-known organisations such as CLG. Samsung is a huge name to be involved with the Amateur Tournament Series and hopefully, more partnerships of this scale continue to be made in North America.
