On Friday (March 19), around 18:02 UTC, Coinbase announced that Cardano’s ADA token was about to launch on the web and mobile apps for Coinbase Consumer.
As you can see in the one-day ADA-USD price from TradingView shown below, within five minutes of Coinbase’s first tweet, the ADA price had reached $1.3254, which is (at the time of writing) today’s intraday high.
Per data by CryptoCompare, currently (as of 19:14 UTC on March 19), ADA is trading around $1.303, up 3.09% in the past 24-hour period. In the year-to-date (YTD) period, ADA is up 617.11%.
