Can you turn off click-and-move in Diablo II: Resurrected? The question is not really based on a problem, more on a preference. Gameplay design was a bit archaic in the late 90s, and point and click was the best way to move characters in RPGs. And Diablo II was no different. Players had two abilities for their left and right-click button, and you should use hotkeys to switch out the right-click.

It’s always felt clunky, but there was nothing you could do with it at the time. Now as a remastered version, did Blizzard give you a way around this? The answer is yes and no. For PC players, you’re stuck with the click and move, much like League of Legends.

But for console, Diablo II: Resurrected works much better. It’s almost like the console is the way the game could be played with current technology. Because the controller can’t use a click and move system, it has to use the joysticks, a much more modern approach. The game is definitely smoother and runs better on a console. Granted, players wanting the true Diablo II experience are fine with the usual movement. This is what they grew up on and it might have pissed off more people if they changed it.

But for some of us who didn’t have a chance at playing the original, have a better moving system as an option would have been a great addition.
