Activision Blizzard has announced the return of the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship. The competition will Sony sign on as the presenting partner and will offer a $2M USD total prize pool.
In December, Activision canceled the final stage of the 2020 World Championship due to the ongoing pandemic. That event also featured Sony as the presenting partner, and would have awarded a $750K prize pool. The intended prize money was distributed equally among the teams which had qualified for the Grand Finals.
