The team will return to their regular lineup for IEM Fall North America.
Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz and Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte will not play for Evil Geniuses in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups, the organisation has announced. In a statement, Evil Geniuses said that the two players have “requested time away to focus on their respective mental health.”
Instead, the team will once again field coach Damian “daps” Steele in place of stanislaw, and have enlisted Teodor “SPELLAN” Nikolov from the bench of MAD Lions to take Brehze‘s spot in their tournament bid.
The team is expected to return to their full lineup upon their return to North America, where they will compete in IEM Fall from October 5 to 10 in hopes of attaining a spot at the PGL Major in Stockholm.

The announcement extends stanislaw‘s temporary leave from the team after he was expected to return to the lineup following the conclusion of ESL Pro League Season 14, which he did not attend after stating that he wasn’t “mentally ready for more international travel and competition.”
With daps, Evil Geniuses ended their ESL Pro League campaign in last place, managing to pick up only a single map win against FaZe while going 0-5 in their group.
EG are set to compete in Group A of BLAST Premier Fall, where they will take on Astralis in their opening match on September 16.
