A New York City restaurant, The Brooklyn Chop House has paid tribute to The Notorious B.I.G by hosting an avatar of the late rapper in a holographic booth.
The avatar was created by digital human studio Hyperreal for a forthcoming metaverse project featuring the singer, while the avatar was housed in a booth from holographic device company Proto, which has P Diddy as an investor and advisor.
The life-like hologram features the artists dressed in a green, white and black Sergio Tacchini tracksuit, together with sunglasses, a Kangol hat, Nike trainers and a necklace with a Jesus pendant.
The Notorious B.I.G, who was murdered in 1997, is due to appear in a new metaverse world “The Brook”, which is under development by his estate.
