In her new role, Kaur will report directly to Alexander Reisch, MD, IPM India. With this new appointment, IPM India has managed to build a senior leadership team, which is completely local, comprising all Indian leaders.

As part of her assignment, Kaur will lead the HR and people strategy in India for the Company. Before Kaur, Loma Hosne-Ara was the director for people and culture at IPM India. She has now moved to Novartis Bangladesh as country manager for people and organisation.

Kaur carries close to two decades of experience in the HR domain and has worked with various renowned brands across sectors.

Prior to this appointment, Kaur was the CHRO at BharatPe — India’s upcoming fintech and payment solutions platform for traders and local merchants — where she spent a little more than a year leading its HR strategy function.

For Kaur, joining IPM India was an easy decision, one backed with the positive affirmation of joining a global giant knocking on the doors of massive transformation. “People centricity is indeed synonymous with me and I am driven by my commitment and passion to add value to each and every employee”, says Kaur expressing her excitement at this opportunity to be a part of this “future-focused organisation where agility, best-in-class talent, co-creation and wellbeing are the bedrocks of an ever-evolving and dynamic culture.”

In the early stages of her career, Kaur honed her skills in people management and HR, working with Reliance Life Sciences as an HR manager. She has also worked as a consultant with Mercer for close to two years.

In 2007, Kaur got the opportunity to work with a global brand such as Microsoft, as an HRBP, where she spent two successful years of her career. It was in 2009 that she took up the role of head – global compensation and benefits, at Jubliant Life Sciences. This again, was a two-year stint.

Moving on in 2012, Kaur took joined as head of global compensation and performance at Maersk. Two years later, she was promoted as the head of HR for global services centre, at Maersk India.

Kaur’s longest stint was with Maersk India, where she spent over five years.

Later, Kaur moved to Pepsico as an HR director for core HR services. In 2018, she also did a short stint of a year and a half with DHL as its chief people officer.

Expressing confidence in Kaur’s abilities, Reisch says, “Jasneet comes with enormous experience and a strong ‘people first’ mission in her DNA. Her expertise will certainly bolster IPM India’s transformational journey, with people being our nerve centre. I look forward to collaborating with her, as she joins our vision of being a forward looking, future ready workplace, that fuels and mobilises minds.”
