Bencis, an investment firm focused on the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, is looking to raise $560m for its sixth fund.
The firm has yet to register any capital to Bencis VI, according to the latest US Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
No placement agent has been listed in the document.
Bencis closed its fifth fund back in 2016; however, it did not reveal the size of the vehicle.
At the time, a spokesperson for Bencis stated the firm is not disclosing fundraising information with the media.
The firm’s fourth vehicle closed on €408m in November 2011.
While the investment strategy of Fund VI has not been revealed, Bencis typically invests into the industry and manufacturing, food and beverages, business and consumer services, healthcare and leisure, and wholesale and retail sectors.
Earlier this year, Netherlands-based Committed Capital held the final close for its €55m Fund III, which it managed to raise in just two months.
