ATK add Cyrix, bLazE steps down

Date:

Another American will join up with the South Africa-majority lineup.

Following McKinley “Cyrix” Hollison‘s announcement of joining ATK, the South African side has announced that Josh “bLazE” Saunders is stepping down from the lineup and that the young American will join the active lineup.

Cyrix most recently played with ONET4P, who made the playoffs of ESEA Premier in their first season and also beat Triumph in the recent SteelSeries Prime Cup. At the end of the ESEA season both Cyrix and Sean “Subarashii” Tuttle decided to step down from the lineup.

ATK are next set to play in Premier Season 39 without bLazE

The change for ATK comes after quite a successful ESEA Advanced season, which saw them earn a promotion to the Premier division due to GODSENT pulling out of the tournament. They also qualified for IEM Fall North America after a three-map victory over RBG, in the end placing last at the main event following a 0-5 record in the group stage.

ATK‘s lineup going into the next ESEA season looks as follows:

South Africa Gareth “MisteM” Ries
South Africa Rhys “Fadey” Armstrong
South Africa Wiljahne “mango” Smith
United States Ian “motm” Hardy
United States McKinley “Cyrix” Hollison

Israel Daniel “sprayxd” Kogan (coach)
