Assmann presents new wireless collaboration systems

Date:

German company Assmann Electronic GmbH has launched two new collaboration and presentation system which link notebooks and mobile devices wirelessly with screens or projectors.

The Digitus Click & Present Pro and Click & Present Mini wireless collaboration systems can even be used without additional software or apps.

The systems for wireless transfer of screen content in conference rooms are designed to make meetings more efficient, save time and deliver optimal presentation results.

Their launch comes at a time when many companies are transitioning from home to hybrid working and more meetings are being held in person.

“With the Digitus Click & Present solutions, we want to help with straightforward and effective organisation of meetings and presentations. Apart from fast and simple installation of the systems, the products allow users to rapidly share, present and collaborate from their notebook, tablet or smartphone – no prior installation of software or apps is required here,” explains Dennis Harzig, senior product manager at the Assmann Group.

Content from notebooks is simply distributed via HDMI transmitter, while tablets and smartphones connect via WLAN and synchronise their screens. Using split-screen mode, Click & Present allows up to four participants to transmit and display their screen contents on the main monitor simultaneously. An integrated whiteboard transforms any touch display into a digital board and makes it possible to enter and save notes and drawings directly on the screen. The collaboration and presentation system is compatible with Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Android.

The range of possible applications is broad, whether for conferences or meetings, in the office, at trade fair stands or in schools, colleges, universities and in seminar rooms.

In addition to the high-end hardware presentation solution Digitus Click & Present Pro with a transmission distance of up to 50 metres, Assmann’ s Click & Present Mini wireless presentation system is also operated using an HDMI transmitter and receiver. This can be extended for up to 16 participants that are connected to the receiver unit simultaneously and can alternate screen transmission. In this way, HDMI video and audio signals can be transmitted wirelessly over a distance of up to 50 metres. Contents from tablets or smartphones can also be shared via WLAN through the receiver.
