Ubisoft has revealed the official release date for the second Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion, Siege of Paris.
Back your bags, raiders. A new threat has revealed itself to the Raven Clan and Eivor jarl isn’t about to sit back and do nothing. Thanks to the new Title Update—1.3.0—fans of the series finally have a date for their voyage toward Francia.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla “Siege of Paris” is set to launch on Aug. 12, 2021. Title Update 1.3.0 will add official support for the expansion when it goes live on Tuesday, July 27, meaning players are that much closer to visiting the great city—and subsequently burning it to the ground.
As with most expansions in Ubisoft’s historical fiction flagship series, Valhalla’s second expansion focuses on a primary point in Viking era history: the Siege of Paris.
The real siege happened in March 845. Allegedly led by the legendary Ragnar Lodbrok—identified as “Reginherus” in official records of the event—a force of 120 ships carrying thousands of warriors sailed up the river Seine and into the city around Easter. They ransacked the city and only left after being paid 7,000 livres of gold and silver by the king at the time.
Obviously, Ubisoft will likely have Eivor taking point with Sigurd or possibly sailing under the banner of one of the surviving Ragnarsons. It’s also possible players will be able to visit one of the notable raid locations after the siege: the Abbey of Saint Bertin.
Siege of Paris will be included in the game’s Season Pass and will likely also be available in the in-game shop.
