Apex Legends Switch delayed yet again as a blog post from the developers confirms the sad news. Apex Legends was supposed to be released this fall on Nintendo Switch, but the blog post on EA’s website confirms we won’t be seeing Apex on Switch until 2021.

From the post, “… for those who game on the Nintendo Switch, we’re still hard at work on the port, but in order to do justice to the game and make it into the great experience Switch players deserve, our team needs more time. This year has brought on unexpected new challenges, to put it mildly, and we don’t want to rush anything out.”
The difficulties the Apex devs eluded to in the blog post are surely about the difficulties that COVID-19 has brought to game devs across the world. Working in person has been gone for some time, and each company, from big to small, has had to change its course of action. Many are working from home and that in itself brings challenges. We will absolutely see Apex legends on the Nintendo Switch, fans will just have to wait until next year. Until then, continue honing your Apex skills in Season 6,
