This excellent Warzone clip by Reddit user u/bjenks2011 shows the potential power of mind games you can play with your enemies. Sometimes it doesn’t just come down to the speed of reaction times, sometimes all you need to do is wait around a corner and sneak up on your enemy.
A lesser Warzone player would have started shooting the second the enemy turned that corner, but bjenks2011 is smarter than that, and they have a cool execution to boot. There’s something so satisfying about getting to stomp on the enemy who had you on the ropes. And the voice line by the character really says it all. “So easy to break!”
Notice the deliberate moves that bjenks2011 goes through to trick his enemy. After jumping down and going into the underground tunnel, they wait for just a second for their pursuer to see them. We cannot understate how smart this is. If he just ran away then there’s no guarantee that the soon-to-be-executed enemy would have seen bjenks go down the stairs. Bjenks lays out the bait, and the pursuer takes it.
