AGO sign 18-year-old FPL player as sixth member

Date:

The highest-ranked Polish team, AGO, have announced an adjustment to their lineup after failing to secure a spot at the final Regional Major Ranking event – IEM Fall. “The Hawks” have decided to revisit the idea of an expanded roster with the signing of kRaSnaL, an 18-year-old that qualified for FPL in August.

kRaSnaL is AGO’s new signing

kRaSnaL was unveiled as the team’s sixth player on Friday and has already played two matches for the team. Previously, kRaSnaL has represented ESCA, a team competing in ESEA Advanced and the Polish Esports League.

“After a few years of mixing, I join x-kom AGO. This is a dream come true for me,” kRaSnaL said in a statement. “I have to prove my worth and show what I can do on the server. I am happy because I have been noticed. These will be busy months.”

AGO are one of the first organizations to experiment with an extended roster, starting with seven players in 2019 after a merger with x-kom. Later that year, a number of players were trialed, including Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, before a six-man roster was set.

The team cut their roster down to five early in 2020, then expanded it to seven shortly, before settling on a five-man lineup at the end of March. The team featuring youngsters Maciej “F1KU” Miklas and Miłosz “mhL” Knasiak managed to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 12, reaching a milestone their 2021 roster built around star signings Karol “rallen” Rodowicz and Michał “snatchie” Rudzki wasn’t able to reach.
