Abstract:
Nanomaterials and Nanoscience have taken this development in science and engineering to a new height for the well-being of humankind. This topic covers all sectors of research filed like Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Biosciences, etc. This will only be the possible book covering maximum relevant and latest topics both from a theory and the experimental point of view. The present compilation would help many students, scholars, teachers, scientists etc., in their curriculum development and research work. Advanced Materials and NanoSystems Part 1, mixture of 12 chapters based on recent trend in Materials Science, Physics and Chemistry from both the experiment and the theory. Thus, it provides many references data and information for comparative studies. It targeted young graduate students, research scholars, scientists engineers and teachers as it impart a comprehensive understanding of novel material properties and their implications in smart technological devices for sustainability.

Advanced Materials and NanoSystems Part 2, comprises of 11 chapters from all fields of natural sciences including biotechnology, Materials Science, Physics and Chemistry. It provides many relevant pieces of information for insightful understanding and further studies. This book mainly targeted young graduate students, research scholars, scientists engineers and teachers. The present compilation would help the readers in many aspects of their curriculum development and research work.

The series of a compilation of books and contributions of chapters have provided a platform for those researchers who are active in research and willing to publish their new findings in a short period. Keeping the importance of the title, the book is more focused on advanced materials and Nanosciences. However, this book also includes chapters from almost all fields of sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology etc.

About the editor:

Dr. Dibya Prakash Rai, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Pachhunga University College, Mizoram University (Central University), Aizawl-796001, India. He joined Pachhunga University College as a permanent faculty on 16th December 2014. He did his post-doctorate from Computational Science Research Center (CSRC), Beijing, China, under Prof. San Huang Ke. To date, he has published more than 150 articles and conference proceedings in peer reviewed national and international journals. He has completed two major projects from UGC and Indo-Russian joint projects under the International Cooperation Division, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. Currently, he is the project investigator of two more running projects from CRG-SERB under DST and International Cooperation Division, DST (Indo-Uzbek joint project). He is a recipient of several awards such as best oral presentation and outstanding reviewer award from IOP.

He has also served as the editorial board member of several peer-reviewed journals. Currently, he is an Associate Editor of Senhri, a journal of multidisciplinary studies published by Pachhunga University College, Aizawl, India.
