Adobe has successfully found and patched critical vulnerabilities found in their programs on Windows, Mac and Linux. The popular services from the company including Flash player, Cold Fusion and AIR will receive this update immediately. The vulnerabilities could allow hackers to take control of a computer or remotely read information without authorization.Flash player is being used by millions around the globe for animated online content and such vulnerability in a basic tool can lead to catastrophic results, according to the official statement.Adobe has suggested every user of Flash player install the new update, version 11.9.900.152 for Windows operating system. Adobe AIR has also received an update which fixes two different memory corruptions. If not fixed, these corruptions can lead to remote code execution which allows third parties to take control of a program and associated elements found in a user’s computer.

The company also stated that browsers Chrome, Internet Explorer v. 10 and Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8 will automatically download this website so as to secure user experience. Those who are using SDK version of Air on Windows, Mac and Android operating system are suggested to go for the 3.9.0.1210 version of the program.

Security hot fixes have been released for their Cold Fusion system for almost all of its versions starting from 10 to 9.0 application server. Issues with remote and unauthenticated access will be solved with this update. The update fixes another XSS cross scripting issue and will work only on proper authentication. So far, no exploits or attacks have taken place using these vulnerabilities. Fixing them in time will ensure such problems don’t arise even in the near future.

Adobe asserts that the issues these fixes address are unrelated to the theft of source code for f Adobe Acrobat, ColdFusion, ColdFusion Builder and other products, which they reported in October
