The League of Legends Preseason 2021 update is here and the changes this patch brought are unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. With such massive changes, there’s a lot that isn’t quite perfect right now. We can’t expect Riot Games to know how every change made is going to affect the game.

So here’s a list of five things that we want to be changed in the near future.

The ADC role has always seemed to be struggling, in past seasons, bot lane carries have been forced to learn mages even. It is a sad state of affairs when Assassins, Tanks, and Bruisers can all run you down and destroy you without a second thought. So please, give the ADCs some help.

This is a big one. We rarely see summoner spells change. For the longest time everyone has run Flash, and usually Teleport. Though Ignite, Heal, and Cleanse make appearances in certain scenarios. For the most part it is limited to Flash and Teleport. But wouldn’t it be fun to see some spells get buffed and see them come into play again?

There are not very many people who enjoy the tank meta. Every once in a while tanks will get inadvertently buffed to the point where they become essential to any team. Right now is one of those times. Junglers like Amumu and Nunu seem a bit over-tuned with the new items, so let’s tone it down a little bit.

Ok we’re joking here, obviously don’t remove a champion from the game. As much we all hate playing against Samira, she is representative of a trend in champion design that many of us want to be changed. Like Yone, it seems like every champion that gets released now has everything in their kit. It can feel like there are no downsides to playing as Samira, but if you’re against her there’s nothing you can do. Let’s hope that in the future champions are designed with more weaknesses in mind, rather than giving them overwhelming strength.

The legendary mid laner for TSM recently announced his retirement from competitive play. For many people he has been in the LCS for longer than they have even played League of Legends. After taking home more than five LCS titles there needs to be something to honor one of North America’s greatest players.
