We’ve already seen test mules for the next Panamera being driven around Porsche’s Stuttgart facility; now our spy photographers have spotted the Sport Turismo variant out in the open ahead of its reveal next year. This upcoming model will continue to rival the likes of Audi’s RS6 Avant and Mercedes-AMG’s GT 4-Door among the ranks of more practical alternatives to a conventionally shaped performance saloon.
For now Porsche is keeping camouflaged the areas where we’d expect to see tweaks to the Panamera’s styling, such as the front bumper and rear lights. However, design cues from recent new models such as the 992-generation 911 and the updated Cayenne SUV will make an appearance, altering the light bar at the rear and bringing overall design up to speed with the rest of the Porsche range.

Twin daytime running lights, large front intakes and acid green ten-piston calipers all point towards this latest mule being the range-topping Turbo S E-Hybrid, but updates will be applied across the range, meaning the 4, 4S and GTS models will receive attention too. Following the recent launch of Porsche’s first all-electric model, the Taycan, it’s also possible that we’ll see an increase in the pure-electric range for hybrid Panamera models.
Aside from exterior tweaks and powertrain upgrades, Porsche will drop features from its most recent models into the cabin, too, to freshen-up the driver’s environment.
A reveal date is yet to be announced, but expect to see the new Panamera Sport Turismo uncovered at some stage during 2020. Pricing will likely begin at around £80,000, climbing to around £120,000 for the range-topping Turbo.
